Learn to play the piano: we welcome all levels, from complete beginners to advanced. We teach children and adults a whole range of styles, and offer piano exams too.

Gone are the days of boring piano lessons. We only take on fun, motivated piano teachers who genuinely love teaching, so you enjoy every session with us. Our piano teachers bring years of professional teaching and playing experience, and with well over 1,000 applications a year from teachers wanting to join us, we can afford to be selective about who makes the team.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, lessons are tailored to your goals, covering jazz, classical, popular and blues styles. Piano exams are available from Grade 1 through to Grade 8 in classical, jazz or popular music and are internationally recognised, with mock tests along the way so you arrive fully prepared.
The modern piano descends from the pianoforte, invented around 1700 by the Italian instrument maker Bartolomeo Cristofori. It remains the instrument most music teachers recommend as a foundation for understanding music theory, since its keyboard lays out pitch, harmony and scale patterns more visually than almost any other instrument.
Piano is also one of our most popular instruments among adult and retired learners. Many come to us having always wanted to play, or having given up lessons as a child and wanting to finally finish what they started. Learning an instrument in later life is widely associated with keeping the mind sharp, and piano, with its gentle physical demands and clear visual layout, is a genuinely realistic starting point at any age.
